Environmental Information Portal for Maritime Industries is an electronic library providing the user access to general information on current environmental issues relevant to seaborne transportation and associated activities.

The portal include means which may be applied in order to translate generic information to specific scenarios and also access to online services and information provided by national, intergovernmental authorities as well as NGO’s and public and private institutions and organizations.

Information is organised in seven categories; Pollutants, Environmental Impact, Reduction Methods, Ships Systems, Regulations- Conventions and Treaties, Incentive Mechanisms and Algorithms.
