This is the Reference Data browser for the Reference Data System database. It contains
the Reference Data Library (RDL) which is the result of ISO 15926 class library
building since 1991. This library contains about 10,000 ISO standardized classes,
representing technical names and definitions for industrial equipment, activities,
properties etc. So far the scope for these classes has been Oil/Gas (upstream and
downstream), Chemicals and Power industry.
The predecessors of this class library are STEPLIB and POSC-Caesar Lib, which have
been merged to form the standard RDL set.
The content and software is the result of cooperation of about 50 companies, who
generously donated their work hours so that this database would become available
to the industry at large.
