Upload Documents

The user can upload documents both at Project and Activity level, in the attachment section of both the Project Details Page and the Activity Details Page respectively.  It is also possible to upload attachments to Service Requests and Quality Issues.

 

Activity documents should only be uploaded to the relevant Activity, also triggering a mail notification to the DNV Team Leader of the Activity.  Attachments at Project level is intended for higher level or more administrative document exchange, or for documents that apply to all activities (instructions, agreements, etc).

 

 

To upload a document from your local storage up to eAdvantage, click New ().

 

 

Click the small button   to bring up the window below, where you can browse, find and select the documents that you wish to upload from your own PC.  You can also add comments about the document for better mutual understanding of its purpose and what DNV should do with it.

 

 

Remove or delete attachments (documents etc)

You can remove attachments (documents) from anywhere in eAdvantage where attachments can be uploaded, by clicking the remove button. 

 

 

Note that the document is not deleted from the database, but it is no longer accessible through eAdvantage.  We therefore use the term remove.  If you want not only to remove a document from eAdvantage, but to destroy it, then please contact your DNV customer contact or issue a service request, and DNV will do it for you.
