Introduction to eAdvantage
eAdvantage allows DNV and its customers to share information, keeping everyone updated within the certification process. This documentation gives an overview of the shared data, functionality and even how to edit it – if your user mode allows.
The key purpose and objectives of eAdvantage are:
for DNV and the customer to share an understanding of the certification process and status, making a more efficient partnership
to make all the certification information available in one place
To make shared information available independent of people, using authenticated access for those who want to stay informed on their own schedule, or for new people who need to be introduced to the projects, status, plans and history.
The customer can get an overview of the certification status, view the up-to-date audit schedule of each project, or inspect the information about his/her company and its sites. Documents may be made available by DNV as an attachment to each activity, or documents can be uploaded by the customer to suggest focus areas or make background material available to the DNV audit team.
The customer can also issue and maintain Service Requests to DNV, issue and maintain Quality Issues to suggest improvements to DNV operation or acquire training services from DNV around the world.
It is possible to respond to Audit Findings directly in eAdvantage. However, this depends on the internal tools used by the auditor or the DNV unit, and when they choose to migrate to use this functionality. Contact your customer contact or auditor to agree on whether you would prefer to have Audit Findings be registered in documents, or as data fields available in eAdvantage.
To become an efficient user of eAdvantage, you should read what you need to know about the platform and how to find your way through the information in the tables and pages.
Home is the first, opening screen of eAdvantage: Your Portal to DNV Business Assurance. From Home, you can access information in other screens (the pages of eAdvantage) by navigation functionality described here.
